The Cincinnati West SC goalkeeper training program is under the direction of the CWSC Goalkeeper Training Director, Rod Fielden.   Building on the past success of this program, Rod has developed a new format in which to better serve the developmental needs of goalkeepers of the club.

This program is designed to instruct, challenge, and identify players that wish to become better goalkeepers.  All goalkeepers, full time or part-time, are encouraged to be a part of this program. Coaches are encouraged to allow their goalkeepers to attend these sessions in addition to or as a part of their regularly scheduled practices.

The program is focused to meet the needs of all goalkeepers, whether they are experienced or new to the position. Each session all GK trainers will be present to instruct the group that attends. The staff will divide the players in a way to focus on their individual fundamental needs. 

 

**It is vital that Goal Keepers attend each week, as there will be a set curriculum provided by Rod**

 

2026 SPRING- GOALKEEPER TRAINING SCHEDULE:

Location: Valley Junction Soccer Complex

Cost: FREE to current CWSC players (outside club players $150)

Days: Mondays March 16th-May 11th

Times:

2018-2015 : 6:15-7:15p

2014-2007 : 7:15-8:45p

**Monday March 16 is canceled due to cold temps and weather. This session will be made up:

The 2014-2007s will go Thursday 3/19 7pm-830pm, while the 2018-2015's will go Thursday 3/26 from 615pm-715pm. Location still at Valley Junction.
